2010 Medtrade – November 16-18 in Atlanta

Located on the show floor at Medtrade Atlanta, the 2010 NextGen Digital Health & Telemedicine National Demonstration Home will be a show highlight. Home healthcare providers and decision makers from across the country will see the latest in home healthcare solutions in a real home environment. Outside the home, on the “lawn,” a showcase of leading HME mobility, telemedicine, and remote access solutions will be featured.

2011 International Builders’ Show – January 12-15 in Orlando

The NextGen Home Experience, the ninth in a series of national demonstration homes at the IBS, is the place to see the “Next” in Next Generation products in home building. Partnered with Champion Homes, the U.S. DOE and leading manufacturers, the NextGen Home is built green, energy efficient, digital and safe to resist Florida’s unique weather-related events, all featured in a flexible living design to meet the needs of the entire family. Today, one in four families include family members who need the features of universal design, providing builders an opportunity to provide homes that offer flexibility for family members that require accessible living space or universal design for aging in place. After the show, the home will be donated to a war veteran, through an organization that works with wounded soldiers.
